Can't save changes to my HUT Team

Product: NHL 23
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? Datamonkey3
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? My Team Select player to subsitute From list of available players, select the player you want to add to your lineup Attempt to save the results
What happens when the bug occurs? An error screen pops up saying that the save to the roster could not be applied. There is an error code with an incredible number of characters; far too many to write down.
What do you expect to see? The new player added successfully to my team.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online
Insert Game Mode or Feature here HUT
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 17:30 PM
What is your time zone? PRT - GMT - 4:00
EASHL issues? Please insert your Club Region. NA
What is your game language? English

I am unable to substitute new, better players into my HUT lineup.  This has been the case since the end of last week.

    Hello, @Btibert3 

    Try creating a new lineup and set it to active. Then, try to edit it and let me know what happens.

    @EA_Aljo On top of other issues I currently have and described on some other thread, where the error message is the same by the way, as trying to play Rival games but can't because of this "Failed to retreive data" error with an error code in Hexa...
    I now have this issue.
    I deleted my extra lineup, you can't delete your current lineup so I created an empty one... deleted the current one to remain only with the new empty lineup.
    Problem is, if I fill this lineup and exit, it crashes. I left some spot open on the lineup, which should not be a problem, so I can buy cards on the AH to fill my 4th line and 3rd pairing on D...
    But I can't because it keeps crashing. I even tried to remove cards one by one and when it came to LD it crashed.
    I saved a video on my YT channel if you want to see what it looks like. 15 min of my life lost trying to figure out how to go around one more of this game's problems.

    @EA_Aljo No if you're talking about the red wings TOTW cards, I have none either in my collection or in my lineup. If you're referring to the previous week, that would be a no also. I mainly have Primetimes, X-factrors, Team builders and MSPs.

    Just to give you an idea, after recording the video I posted on YT, I tried something.

    Facing a completely empty lineup, I added my 1st C Jokinen from the team builders at the C1 position. And saved... got the error.

    In total despair, because I was not able to play anymore without being able to save a lineup, I started a Squad Battle game, got the empty lineup there, added all the cards while praying all the known gods for some magical outcome... and I got in the game and my lineup was safe.

    Now I tried to create a new lineup to put my Fantasy Hockey cards there and have a 2nd lineup, so I would not need to switch cards all the time when I want to play with my main squad or the one to get games for this Fantasy Hockey objectives... and trying to save it... it crashed and didn't save.
    At least I am able to play now, and won't delete my main squad ever again.

    @EA_Aljo my hut team wont save either it say error code: E71DB306C216FFE4-0000000000009999-03B4F0814E7AD965 im on ps4, do you know how i can make it save.

    Did you try what I suggested previously in this thread? That normally resolves this issue.

    I’ve had this same problem. I bought over 200k worth of players (a few of them 90+) and when I try to out them in the lineup and then exit WITH SAVING an error code shows up and says to try again later. I’ve trade renaming my team, only swapping players one at a time, and even delaying and reinstalling the game. I’ve had this for weeks and it’s pretty annoying. I didn’t pay &130 for a game that doesn’t work.
