Changing my team name and abbreviation

I got an email yesterday from EA about my username and abbreviation it was just a warning so I’m still able to play got home from work expecting to have to change it and everything was the same as it always was now I’m afraid I’ll get reported for the same thing and get banned is there no way to change your name why would you get a warning about it if you can’t change it I’m confused I’m a long time player not trying to cause any trouble just wanna make sure I don’t get banned what do I do?
