Couldnt resolve host name - PS4
I am really annoyed ... been a long day and all i had to look forward to was coming home and trying nhl 23 finally. now i cannot get past the loading screen because it says Couldn't Resolve host ...

This sounds like a connection issue. I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!
Yes I have done this. NAT is type 2. Not OP but same problem for BF 2042 and no answers anywhere. Even reinstalled the game twice.
Ps4. Sorry I thought the title meant this was all ps4 related but I see the questions on other platforms now. Would've mentioned lol.
I also restored licenses already as well.

I just wanted to make sure as it's pretty common for people from other platforms to post in a thread that is specific to one. At any rate, are you only experiencing this with BF 2042 or is it happening with NHL also?
Try using alternate DNS settings with the steps here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
