I am really annoyed ... been a long day and all i had to look forward to was coming home and trying nhl 23 finally.
now i cannot get past the loading screen because it says Couldn't Resolve host name ... error code 0x0000000006
really annoyed ... anyone have a solution or is this just what we get for pre-ordering games instead of waiting for them to be free or discounted on ps+
Ps4. Sorry I thought the title meant this was all ps4 related but I see the questions on other platforms now. Would've mentioned lol.
I also restored licenses already as well.
Community ManagerI just wanted to make sure as it's pretty common for people from other platforms to post in a thread that is specific to one. At any rate, are you only experiencing this with BF 2042 or is it happening with NHL also?
Try using alternate DNS settings with the steps here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
Oh no I totally get it. Like I said I saw the other posts about different platforms right after my answer. I meant I should've specified. Not a shot at you in any way. And this is occurring after the free ps4 plus game download if that makes any difference. I also just got it from the white screen with host error to now it is a pop up that days can't connect to EA servers. I don't have NHL or any other ea play or anything like that to test. I got the game through ps plus and was having the white screen issue every day and haven't been able to play once. Today was the first day I made it to the new pop up screen saying ea servers until after your reply. They're listening man lol.
And now I got an eula agreement for the first time. I checked the box and it started up. Apparently I just needed to ask you. I don't know what magic spell you used over there but this game has never worked once for a week. I start bothering you and it works. So none of the solutions worked other than taking to you lol. Thanks again for your help but I unfortunately can't say what did it because nothing changed other than trying it for the 1000th time and talking to you. So I give you the credit haha. Had 7 more fails after trying each if your suggestions so it must be magic or the FBI is watching man lol.
