Community ManagerI think the problem is that this game is focused on modern hockey. Which is why the name always reflects the current year. Hopefully someday there will be a game focused on those vintage years of hockey you love. I'm not saying we won't have these options at some point. I just wanted to give some additional information on why you don't see a lot of aspects of vintage hockey reflected in our modern take on it.
@EA_Aljo Come on now. There is roster sharing, and people share vintage rosters all the time: original six, 1970s, WHA etc. We just want them as realistic as possible. We want to create Orr, Esposito, Hull and many others without helmet just like Gordie Howe and many other alumni players now. It has nothing to do with modern hockey or the game title. Our hobby is to create vintage rosters and share them.
