Cross-play, but why (Ryan Reynolds meme)

I have absolutely not seen the benefits of this supposedly "demanded" game mode or gameplay. Despite the previous issues of online PS vs PS, of which I've still found much better teammates,  current PS (either with or) vs XBOX absolutely sucks the life out of an already dismal online experience. Meaning, it was already bad before, but somewhat tolerable, and now I am completely disgusted with this crap. 

Yeah, and after the most recent several games, as it's been happening since this somewhat of a "demand" has been implemented, I have had enough of XBOX "players" blatantly quitting, refusing to pass, purposely standing still, refusing to be a teammate, etc., even when we have a lead. This thought process is completely ruining some people's online experience, and Karma doesn't discriminate because you're weak. 

At this point, I've turned off cross-play, once again, despite the fact that I'll be punished for not adhering to the norm (which means I'll be playing less games because the lobbies are already small enough, and cross play bolsters an already weak and "competitive" set of teammates/opponents). But then again, the majority vote isn't always the right vote, because not all of us are followers, and leaders persevere over chaos.
