As for me the 2 modes I play is franchise mode and BAP.
Honestly both disappointments. As I’ve posted in EA the move to remove making our own strategies was a silly move and took another aspect away of controlling every aspect. I honestly wish EA took a page out of NBA 2k book with MY GM.
Where you can control every last thing even over write things you want to happen.eg player injured you can over wrote that. Not even having to leave the mode to add created players and adding them to your team or other teams ect . Also with ( I know I keep comparing ) but with 2k it feels like a legit full telecast even to the crowd and the presenters. Game after game even heading into the playoffs they have a story to tell about your team and what’s been happening in the season and where it’s all leading.
BAP well it’s just the same old same old and isn’t one bit interesting. Feels like it’s been the same since 20 maybe even back further. Once again maybe take a page out of 2k’s book.
A game I loved I’m beginning to hate and really considering not buy this years version. Unless something drastic has changed in these 2 modes. I think I’ve now played it once in the last 2 months.
- @Andochiefs removing core features or hugely advertised features, is one thing we have to be very careful about now, when contemplating buying the new NHL.
Might have to wait half a year now, just to be sure that they won’t remove “this” or “that” feature after we buy it.
If they advertise NHL 24 with a huge presentation package, NO ONE should buy it until a few months after release because they might do the ole swaparoo and take it away whenever they feel like. Just like they did with full presentation, true broadcast, editing players, strategies, BAP juniors, custom music, etc etc etc the list goes on and on.
From now on, whatever the state of the NHL game is at launch, we should FULLY EXPECT there to be LESS content after a few patches, rather than more.
Unfortunate, but the past few years have proven it true.Just imagine sucking all the fun out of a game… it’s just so sad. People already in their heads that EA don’t care what the people want or what we think.
That they’ll just stick to this same old same old
almost sad that the older versions of the game were more fun. Almost feel that franchise mode in 08 was better than it was now .
it’s sad now because plying the game feels like a chore and both something I can do for relaxing and having fun
