It has been a very rough year for the EA NHL series. Sometimes my opinion turns into a rant of frustration after a heated game dealing with someone toxic when I just want to have fun and not be stressed out over a video game. I work way too often to play club or LG. Became a major reason I got into HUT was due to 6's drop-in not working out the way it was intended. The casual aspect seems to be more a 3's thing for that mode. Rivals/Champs can be very toxic especially now with the behind the net wrap that 9?10 games it seems pointless to continue. The doubt the series will be pro-consumer seems like a pipe-dream, and I feel hopeless. I have unfortunately made my decision to no longer support the series anymore until something changes in this series that will bring my motivation to buy another game. Been a longtime consumer but I Just can't anymore. Seeing streamer friends do the same is heartbreaking since NHL streaming community is falling apart as they are on the same page as myself. I'm so passionate about this series, and I'm sure the devs/community managers do too. Hoping 24 is the game! It has to be!
This is the end of my support for awhile. Been a slice since NHL 93 supporting this series, buying every game since up to this point.
