Great breakdown of what some of the prevalent issues are.
I mainly play Beagm mode offline. I feel this version is worse than 2019, I hadn’t bought an ea game since 2019 until now.
I find the contract demands are more realistic then they used to be.
The coaches are an interesting addition, but I don’t know if the coaching staff improves your team the way they should.
You should be able to edit some of the strategies yourself honestly.
The scouting system seems to be broken compared to nhl19. Any player after the first rounds potential seems to be arbitrary even if you’ve scouted. In 19 you could scout the top 250/league player type in a month, not the whole season, this is an issue regardless if your scout is an A or D-.
I wish you could have the option to build a new arena if your team plays in an old one like the flames.
honestly, nhl like madden has removed really good things they has with inferior technology. Or nhl04 amd madden04-08. The franchise modes were more immersed.
For franchise mode the gameplay has gotten worse since nhl 19 for me as well, yes there are shinny new features. But the gameplay is becoming more unrealistic each year
