Everyone I play with has stopped playing since they released that update a week or 2 ago because of input delay that didn’t exist prior to it.
Not wasting another minute of my time trying to troubleshoot something that is clearly on EAs end. When a large amount of your playerbase gets input lag starting all on the same day you release an update, it’s probably not wise to put blame on them on top of it in an already fragile playerbase that’s run out of patience.
I can handle the bugs and the gameplay flaws, but introduce input lag and I’m heading for the hills

At first I thought it was my wifi so I drilled a few holes and switched over to a wired connection - Connection speed isn't a super definitive indicator of what you'll find in-game but I am 700 down and 150 up and I'm still having issues in random games

Did the update change servers to some cheaper host, or what? Input lag has been in every other game since.

Same... i switched my monitor to a 240hz 1ms,switched my internet to 1.5g,switched my internet cable, tried a new controller.. Theres a issue on their side 100%. I would like they fix it because i want to play hockey.. But its impossible and frustrating...

Hello, everyone.
The update corrected the ping meter. It was previously showing a lower ping than what you actually had. Connections did not change in any way due to the update, but this has caused people to think their connection has worsened. If anyone wants to go through connection troubleshooting, let me know.
- Greyinsi3 years agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Aljo it’s not about ping, i still have 9ms ping but the gameplay have become sluggish on 6s servers. Inputs not recognised, but 0 packets lost. That usually tells that servers are overloaded.

The servers are not overloaded. They are always being monitored for any issues. The best I can do is go through connection troubleshooting.
- kKOV273 years agoNew Ace@EA_Aljo Yes, i would like to try a troubleshooting. What can i do?
