Yep, from my experience, something is wrong with the game mechanics.
1. I got a hit, I was able to keep puck possession, but I lost ability to make a pass. After the whistle, everything was working fine again.
2. When I called for the puck from AI, I was not able to pass the puck immediately to my teammate, but after I made three or four strides passing was working again normally.
3. I got a hit and I lost ability to make a poke check. My RB stopped working in game, but when I touched the puck, poke check was working again normally.
4. Hitting in this game is really weird and inconsistent. Was better in NHL 22.
I would say, everything was better in NHL 22, I had that feeling that skill gap is really there, now in NHL23 I can clearly see skill gap only for Defense. In offense, everyone can score easily lucky goals with no skills.

I don't remember if Truculence was involved but can confirm I had difficulty passing before and especially after getting flatlined by a huge check. It got to the point where we purposely had to ice the puck to reset players back to normal.
@EA_AljoI don't know if this one can help, I'm playing RD, I was able to shoot but I couldn't make a pass for unknown reason. In this case, I didn't get a hit, but something went wrong after my contact with opponent's player, but there is a possibility that this bug was initiated after hit of my teammate, but it's really hard to determine this, moreover there is no evidence from this video that I was able to make a pass before that incident, but I can confirm that yes, I was. I played at least 4 club games tonight, and everything was working fine, my controller is in perfect condition, no issue when playing another games. I will try to find more videos.

@EA_AljoI can even add more details about that. My teammate (LD) that threw that hit is using Truculence as a superstar ability (silver), so yes, in this case, Truculence was involved. He gave me a puck again and I was still not able to make a pass. After the whistle, everything was working fine again.

There is an issue where sometimes after taking a big hit, as well as some other factors I haven't figured out yet, the pass button will not work with the next player who has the puck. I will have to dump it or sauce it then pick the pass back up before passing works again. This happens to me probably once every few games or so. Not MAJOR but it's annoying when you're in a key game moment in rivals and your pass button fails. It's not a controller issue either. I've had 3 controllers have it happen with so far, out of 3 controllers that I own.
Anyone else experience this at all?
