@Riditelvesmiru If you're looking for answers, little piece of advice, you won't find it on this forum. All you're going to find is people telling you that the problems you've experienced are in your head or that you are the problem in the first place and that you need to improve your skills. Truth is, is not in your head and is not your skills. This problem has been reported many times with video proof and for various NHL editions. If you play enough HUT games you will even find a pattern so either you accept it and keep playing or you do what many of us did and you stop playing this game.

If you win less than 60% of your games I'll most certainly say what you're experiencing is a skill issue. That is perfectly fine and nobody should feel ashamed/bad about it, but there is unfortunately a good/better/best way of playing NHL *because* its a video game and not a perfect 1:1 sim.
In a general sense and in theory, yes, higher shots and puck possession should mean the outcome will be in your favour, but context is needed. There are so many minute details that go into every player and play.
OVR does tip the scales, no doubt, but there are ways to combat that
