EXACTLY! EA has turned NHL into an ARCADE game with these stupid attributes that overpower and take over the game.
A player's ability lights up and bam, unstoppable goal - ARCADIC, might as well throw in some pop up's after a goal, saying KAPOW, BIFF, BAM and OOOF from the Batman cartoons.
Suggest going back to NHL14 - give everyone XX amount of points to USE WHERE THEY WANT to increase those abilities.
Get rid of the ARCADIC feeling of these overpowered attributes.
Makes the game so much more unrealistic with freezing the goalie or being able to skate through 3 players backwards while controlling the puck and sniping for a goal.
Silly! Get back to HOCKEY, not super powers.
