EASHL Strategies 6V6

Hey all, just a question involving strategies that you all run for EASHL. My buddies and i have been running a club now for the last 3 years and do fairly decent. Lately though, its been abysmal. Im not sure if its the strategies were running or what but ill give an example from a game last night. We were in a game and we our defense AI could not stop the opposing player at.all. but on the flip of the script, the opposing teams AI could stop us on the dime. Pinching against the boards perfectly, poke checking at the right time, completely shutting us down. 

I guess all in all, im just wondering is there a strategy to set with the AI that improves them because we have tried every which way you can think of and they just simply play abysmal. We have as well tried playing different roles, not doing the same thing over and over, and taking our time entering the zone.

    @TBurkhart1014 My buddies and I are having a terrible year because of this. We are not the best and are usually right at gold 1 or 2 and this year we can't get anything right. We will have the lead in the game and our D will cause penalties or allow the forwards to run right in. Even when our defenders bump the FW they still skate right thru shoot from anywere and the goalie can't stop it. We have fallen from Silver 1 to start the season all the way down to 15000 RP. We win games against really good teams get 400-500 RP for the win and loose to good teams and loose 500-600. We have started to play 2k PGA even fricking nascar once we get pissed at the game. The strategies don't mean crap on this game. Needed to vent

    Having a similar issue, just can't seem to get it right with strategy settings. AI just not effective.  Got to the point where my game is suffering because I'm trying to over compensate.  Looking for some suggestions on offense and defensive settings while playing with AI.

    If you figure out a solution please lmk. We're struggling w/ having to have a forward drop back and play defense to the point one has to switch to a defensive role.

    @touchlessperk 

    I always play RD so my experience might be different, but I set all the strategies as aggressive as possible. Especially on defense. I set that to High Pressure. My AI D partner is pretty aggressive. Hitting, poking, etc. If you normally set the strategies to be conservative, try this instead.
