Effects of recent 19/10 update on BAP

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play BAP now and compare it to BAP before the update of 19 October; which, to my understanding, had nothing inherently to do with BAP.
What happens when the bug occurs? It's totally off balance now. I play exclusively BAP and exclusively as a goalie.
What do you expect to see? Balanced, realistic game play.

I was so happy to see, or at least perceive, such improved AI in the CPU skaters on both teams for this year. Whether work was actually done here or not, at least it felt so much better. The game was more balanced, shot totals and goals were realistic, monstrous comebacks and a forced, almost pre-programmed close game to generate excitement was gone. Games finished with normal scores like 4-2 or 3-1, whereas the last several years, in every game, (EVERY. GAME.) the opponent would score 6 goals on 13 shots, and we'd get 1 goal on 54 shots. Every. Game. In previous years, one team might actualy build a lead of 4-0 or 5-1 or something, only to have the game end up 7-6 after a 3rd period with 8 goals or something, just to have an exciting close game. Sometimes a hockey game just finishes 2-1. Sometimes it just finishes 6-2. But when you force it, really is not fun, and it destroys your personal stats. And for the first week, before the update on October 19, this crap was gone. Games were normal. It was fun, again. I was so happy.
Then the update. And BAP immediately reverted to farcical statistics. My first game, Carolina had 5 shots against me in the 1st. Scored 3. 7 shots in the 2nd, scored 2. Coach doesn't pull me. 32 shots in the 3rd, no goals. 5-0 for them going into the 3rd, OK, bad game for me. We lost 6-5. OK, an anomaly. But then the same sort of thngs happened in my next 8 games. I took Arizona into the 3rd, winning 3-0. They had 9 shots through 2 periods, which...I guess for Arizona is actually kinda of realistic. But, the game finished 8-7 in overtime. They won. 28 shots in the 3rd. Scored on their first shot in OT. Coach never pulled me. Sorry, no.
A cynic might say I just suck a playing BAP Goalie, and maybe they'd be right. To a point. 6 goal 3rd period comebacks do happen. But not every game. 8-7 scores do happen. But not every game. Shot totals of 55-14 does happen, but not every game. 5 goals on 12 shots does happen, but then the goalie gets pulled.
Something is off. Your update did something to the balance of BAP when it was supposed to be stabilizing online stuff. I did not change my sliders. I did not change my game mode. I went to bed on 18/10 with a mostly realistic hockey game, barring a few minor bugs that I could live with, and woke up on 19/10 with....this.
