As a test, can you try connecting your console through a mobile hotspot and then restart NHL 23 and try again?

If it works on a completely different connection, that narrows down the issue more. I've seen a similar issue in the past where this was the case. You've got a strange issue here so I'm trying everything I can think of.

Also, if you have the game installed on an external hard drive, try installing it on the internal drive instead and vice versa.

- 3 years ago@EA_Aljo I want this fixed now. I paid $130 for the game I want to be able to play it while I'm off work not have it like this until I go back to work then have the game working again. That makes no sense. If I'm connected to the internet and can do challenges why can't I do other single player modes online atleast?

Also, if you're on a Series X/S, try removing the game from Quick Resume and then power cycle your modem/router and console.
- 3 years ago@EA_Aljo I'm not turning down any suggestions but when your game gives an error and a code you should be able to fix this not make me wait over a week for a game I HAVE ALREADY PAID $130 for. If absolutely nothing would work it might make sense but I can still get in and do challenges but that's it evert other game mode for online gives me an error even if it's single player online with noone else involved

I am experiencing the same error. Been playing squad battles for hours trying to finish last few games and was only 3 away from completion and this error started. Tried everything you recommended in this thread but no luck. Hard shut down of Xbox one console no help either. Have been playing for months with no issue and then boom. Made no changes to lineup etc, and had been playing all morning. Really frustrating as hoped to finish in the top 50 for rewards, but now unable to complete last 3 games and will finish out of the top 100. Help? Note that after full console restart it asked if I wanted to use console save data or if I wanted to use the cloud, as said they were different, although the time stamp was identical. Thanks in advance. 👍

Can you both try a full power cycle if your equipment? To do that, unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

I have the same problem like guys here. We all tried everything and nothing works. Why are you have numbers of codes if you cant fix it and lets us play game i dont get it.

Thanks. Try rebuilding your database with the steps here. Also, restore your licenses with these instructions.
If that doesn't help, try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 23. It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System. Locate NHL 23 and delete the saved data.
