Franchise mode: 2 way contract players being claimed by other teams!
In franchise mode 2 way contract players are being claimed by other teams every time they are sent back to the minors! This is a major problem!

A player that has a 2-way contract can still need to go through waivers depending on their age and how many games they've played at the NHL level. The game tells you whether a player will go through waivers when you try to send them to the AHL.

You should be able to check the Waivers column in the roster moves spreadsheet to see which players are eligible to be waived. Are you seeing players not listed here also being claimed? Players 25yo or older will always go through waivers. Under 25yo it depends how many games they've played in the NHL. This site explains it:
