Game or Account Merge

Hey there,

I own a disk for NHL23 and I've been using it for a while so I have alot of data from saved games to created teams. Now I no longer need to use the disk as now someone else in my family uses it and now I have a digital copy of NHL23. Is it possible to merge the data from one game to the other? I used the same EA account on both copies of the game but no data transfered over. What can I do?

    @ACashmore43 

    Unfortunately, content and progress cannot be transferred between console generations. If you play HUT, there is a one time migration from the previous generation to the current one.

    Hi there, @ACashmore43 

    You shouldn't lose any saved data when switching between the disk or digital version. Did you also happen to change to a different generation of console when using the digital version?

    I just looked at it, and yes I did switch from PS4 version to a PS5 version. It's also the X factor version of PS5 as for the PS4 version is only the regular version.
