Game skipping automatic replays

I've noticed this happen to me, and I've lso found a pattern.

Usually when I play (offline) and get scored on in a way that I'm curious to see the replay, because it looked strange for some reason, the automatic replay never shows. They celebrate as usual, and when the replay should be shown it goes straight to the next faceoff.

i guess it sounds a bit weird, that the replays I'm most interested in doesn't show, but that is really the best way I can describe it.

It feels like the game is ashamed of what happened and doesn't want to show it. Then if I check the replay myself in the menu, there's never been anything wrong, so I just wonder what is up with this, and if anyone has experienced anything like what I describe?

There’s a simple answer to this… EA removed the goal replays for the opponent team. They only show one replay when YOUR team scores a goal.

EA put the presentation part on a diet this year… They thought it looked too fat !!! But I really liked chubby NHL, it had way more to love 😉

I find it wild that I never noticed this. It's annoying every time though lol

@TheUnusedCrayon Oh boy ! Maybe you don’t get scored on enough or you always used to skip the other team's replay 😂

Or your sense of observation is skewed a bit 😉

I'd love to know what EA meant by "enhanced presentation features" while eliminating full presentation settings. Do they really brlieve an 8-second cutscene of fans with glowsticks supposed to compensate for not seeing replays after goals?
