Probably never coming back. You have to remember GM Connected was probably the last time the EA NHL series felt truly ambitious. I loved GM Connected but it was a buggy mess sadly and rather they make it better they just scrapped it. With the current state of where the NHL series is do you really want to see them attempt to do GM Connected? They're struggling with what they have in the current game.
Exactly. They can’t even get on the same page with what they put out now. The last thing they need to do at this point is try to add new game modes.
If they’re going to continue this series it needs a complete rebuild from the ground up. Not just from a code base standpoint. I’m talking the people making decisions and resources being allocated to development.
It’ll never happen. But it’s blatantly obvious that their current model is failing.
Just my two cents. Lord knows if I had the kind of money EA had…
