Goalie swaps (automatically)

Product: NHL 23
Platform:Xbox Series X
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? Killboy 5
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing a match between friends
What happens when the bug occurs? The goalie is automatically replaced after 5 or 6 goals, if I change the goalie back he then gets changed again after another goal
What do you expect to see? Goalies to remain unchanged unless swapped
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Offline

The starting goalie is automatically changed after 5 or 6 goals by the AI.

if I change the goalie back he is then replaced again, straight after another goal.

thisbhad happened before and only started happening in the ost two weeks.

any one else had this happen or is it a setting I am overlooking?

    So far it’s been limited to Offline>Play Now

    sonfrustarting when the back up goalie is poor, you have to swap the original back in after every goal…..if you can persevere that long

    There wouldn’t be anything to video, a goal is scored, play resumes, next thing you know you’re goalie has been replaced.

    If you can see it happening, there would be video. Can you just keep it in mind if it happens again? This issue has been submitted, but video always helps if we can't reproduce it. It's possible this could be under specific conditions that aren't apparent in testing.

    You don’t “watch” it happen.

    first choice goalie is in place, a goal is scored.

    face off at the centre of the ice and then the next thing you knwo the goalie has been replaced by the back up.

    I understand this, but you should be able to still get a video showing the new goalie in place. You may need to view a replay and record a clip from it.

    @xzscjciu87t4 Did you figure this out? This has been happening in 24 also. My starting goalie was replace by the AI without me swapping. I'm thinking I had something to do with the auto line changes and the new goalie fatigue setting

    The goalie will swap automatically after conceding 4 or 5 goals, the AI will change him.

    my issue was with the fact that when above happens and I choose to swap the original goalie back in, the AI will still swap him out after every further goal (no matter how many times you swap him in).

    it’s a coding error that’s never been addressed.
