Height/Weight options for offline

With the release of the recent roster (October 18th) i notice a bunch of players that had mismatched height and weight, most notably

Arber Xhekaj who is listed at 6'2 195 in-game, but is listed as 6'4 238 pounds online from different sources. i know this topic was brought up in some youtube videos and most likely be fixed in the next update, but why make players wait for the next update and instead, give use the ability to fix these mistakes. i've been pushing this since nhl 19 and hope 1 day the option will return to use.

I was about to write a post about exactly this (with Xhekaj as the example also)! Unlocking the ability to change these things would be very simple, and very appreciated. I can't imagine this being something impossible to add in a small update.

Can someone explain why this little step can't be taken to make a huge positive impact? With some things we wish for it is perhaps a license problems, but this can't possibly be? We can change the handedness of the players after all.

I'm not looking for "EA are too lazy" and stuff like that, I just don't understand why this has not been changed. It feels like it doesn't reach the people who can do something about it.

Please, someone, this is not asking for advanced new features. I'm dying to know why it has not been fixed, or at the very least, an explanation as to why it's not happening.

  • So, if you are talking about why we can't edit players directly during game modes, its becuase EA doesn't want us too. You need to make all edits prior to starting any game mode, else you're stuck with the defaults.

Yes, we've been asking for the ability to do this since they took in season editing from us, no they won't give it back, its not an oversight, its intentionally done.

If you're talking about why they can't properly update their own game, then you're being toxic and the forum mods lock your posts.

As much as I would love to be able to edit inside game modes, I'd be happy just to be able to edit this stuff in the rosters menu.

Right now I barely want to play because I'll have to settle with too much "it is what it is" (like the Xhekaj situation). I don't want to accept it, because it's such an easy thing to change. I presume it's just unlocking those things that are already there.

I wish someone from EA could answer why we can't have this. Wether it is for us trying to keep things real, or someone who want to make Rocco Grimaldi 6-foot-9, what does it matter, as long as we enjoy the game more, which should be the priority. Offline play isn't exactly spoiled with exciting new things, and I don't think I or anyone else are being toxic for thinking this is more than reasonable.

By EA Sports should fix player height and weight scales. Now minimum height for created player is 5'7" and maximum height is 6'9", but why height scale should fix . Reason is female players, female players height is normally under 5'7". Better height scale to player creation would be 4'9" - 6'9", is strange, that EA Sports has not taken into account, that female players height is usually under 5'7".
