Hockey goal physics ( Goal nets )

I want to ask you to make sure that when the puck hits the goal (goal), the goal net moves! In FIFA, this has been done for a long time, it makes the goal more beautiful and realistic. In the NHL, the puck hits the net and just hits the net like a stone wall.

It would also be nice if the puck would rebound quickly out of the net on hard shots/snipes like you often see in real life.

  • They had moving mesh but a lot of that stuff needed to be removed indefinitely to fix some glaring issues; I'm sure we'll see it return eventually

    Hi there, @kurankaaa_

While this was an issue in NHL 21 and 22, it was addressed for 23. You should see the net moving. If you're not, can you get me some video of it so I can pass it on to the team? Thanks!

  • @EA_Aljo , I can't make a video. Just the grid twitches, quite a bit .... In hockey, they move much more, during the game, the movement of the net is not even noticeable

@PernellKarl027 The NHL also made nets tighter in general so players didn't get caught up in them as easily if there was some sag to it that could cause more problems.

Is it that bad ? No

Could it be better ? Of course 😉

absolutely adequate net behavior. In general, not what is needed now
