Now in couple days I have made every possible troubleshooting (internet providers, ps4 and your suggestions). Still online games freeze for 20sec 1-3 times in a game.
Don't avoid responsibility. Fix the game
We're not aware of any issues that would cause this currently. You could try getting your provider to swap out your modem/router. Or, better yet, get your own separate modem and router. Those tend to perform a lot better than the equipment provided by your ISP.
Have you checked to see if there's a firmware upgrade for your current router? If there is, download that and see if it helps.
Also, make sure your ethernet cable is at least Cat6 and is free of damage.
Not just themselves dealing with this either. A few known content creators experienced this same issue. It's an SSL connection issue. This caused the game to freeze even though there was a perfect connection. Only way to fix this is to toggle internet connection from the console offline, unplug the cords. Then go to the router/modem and unplug the cords from there also. Next you wait 10 seconds, the plug everything back in restarting the router//modem and console. Then toggle the internet connection on. Go to DNS settings and change it to Google's since it seems to work better on it. I was able to help out quite a few who dealt with this.
Something is definitely also wrong with cross-play since there is some delay in 1 v 1 which is why many turned it off.

Does this cause also "zombie" players, passing prosent statics staying on the ice whole game? These are only couple of issues what I experiment during weekend
- 3 years ago
I unplugged all the cords from the console and modem. Switch off crossplay.
It didn't help.
Now I have literally tried everything possible at least twice. Today I lost another champs game because my opponent made two goals when my gameplay froze two times in third period.
This is not funny anymore🤬

Router is quite new and firmware has latest update. I have new ethernet cable (cat6).
I contacted ISP again. Connection works well. When I described my problems to them they were sure that problems are in the game. Statistics staying on the is a whole period, zombie players are bugs in the game and pretty surely connected to the lagging/freezing.

Do you happen to also play FIFA? If so, the Connection Quality Report would give us some more information on your connection. Unfortunately, this isn't available for NHL.
Are you or anyone else on your network streaming media while you play? Also, as a test, would you be able to switch to a mobile hotspot to see if you have the same experience?

In my network is connected only my playstation and tv.
Yesterday I tried my mobile hotspot. Same problem occured.

When you tried wireless, was it a 5G connection? Also, did you try putting your console on its own wireless channel?
Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas. We're not aware of any issues with the servers that would be causing lag currently, but will keep monitoring our servers for any issues.

Hello again
I have 5G. I have tried different channel. No good.
Now problem is even worse than before. Now I get kicked out from the servers in every game. Also in Eashl.
My connection's average download speed is 350mb/s and average upload speed is 20mb/s.
It's steady. Doesn't change much.
Other online game (warzone 2.0) works well.
I have been in contact with my internet provider again and there everything is ok.
So I have pretty much isolated this problem in NHL 23.

Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas. If you happen to play FIFA, run the Connection Quality Report I mentioned previously. That would give us more details about your connection. We'll keep monitoring for any issues, but what you're describing sounds like it's related to your connection.

Can I make report playing fifa 22?

What I'm saying is that FIFA offers a way to check the connection of your recent matches. This will show your ping, packet loss and jitter. Chances are good that if you're experiencing connection problems with NHL, they'll also occur with FIFA. So, if you also play FIFA, you could run this report and get some better details on your connection.

Hi,
Here's the result of that test.

Ahh ok. I thought maybe you already played it. It would be good to see several games played to get an idea of your connection. It's not always identical with every game.
When the game is lagging, is it just feeling sluggish, are you noticing input lag or does the game freeze and then speed up and return to normal speed?
