Community ManagerYou don't happen to play going down do you? If so, take a look at the controller settings and see if shooting controls is set to Always Up.

I really don't know what would be causing this. Is it possible to play on Skill Stick or NHL 94 controls instead? If I can think of anything else that might fix this, I'll let you know.
Sounds good I’ll try playing on skill stick but hopefully there’s a fix

I really don't think there's going to be a fix in 23 as this issue is extremely rare. We would need to be able to reproduce it in order to fix it and so far that's not possible. Hopefully, it doesn't happen in future games.
