I don't play NHL23 but FIFA23 and there are people which suffer from the exact same input lag issues including me. Started for me on January 2022 and has never ended. I tried to change like every setting
- Router
- PS5
- Monitor (1ms, 144hz)
- FIFA
- PSN
- PSPlus cloud synch
- etc.)
- different ISPs (around 10)
- VPN via VPS with wireguard installed on it
- VPN (7 in total, premium provider and I made use of the 30 days refund guarantee
- 5G Hotspot with my phone
My ISP sent and techncian to check my connection. He exchanged the phone box even though all the values that has been measured were fine. Nothing changed
Since FIFA23 and NHL23 both run on the same engine and probably use the same Servers it's not unrealistic that the source of the problem is identical.
So yeah I hope your track is the right one and that this could also mean a fix for me.
You have any videos that won't show us anything so we can pick apart your play and pretend that there isn't any issue?
I bought a new Xbox Series X today, wanted to get one anyway, because of 4K etc. Then downloaded NHL, tested it in free skating right away and unfortunately the same, unagile player, weird movements. So it has nothing to do with the hardware, my connection is stable as before, it can only be the game or the servers. Definitely not on our side. Any other company would do something for the customer that we also expect from EA in the form of a patch or update or whatever, if EA wants it they will fix it
