I just don’t get how it doesn’t seem to affect everyone. I’m sure there are plenty of players who just don’t have enough experience on NHL games to even notice it, but I also know a lot of long time players who don’t have any problems.

@9up3dprurovj It doesn't affect everyone because not everyone has the same ISP, lives in the same area, has identical hops and network nodes as others etc. There is a reason why majority of top 50 Champ every week are in same geographical area. Mainly Montreal, some Vancouver etc. What do you think explains how an area with less than a few million people compared to the whole NE USA is over represented in top tier of the game? What about the rest of Canada? People in Calgary Edmonton Winnipeg and Newfoundland not good enough? Next year's game if AWS lets EA use their new Calgary data center will show us some more clear cut evidence of this especially if all of a sudden people from Calgary are squeezing in the top 50 of Champions.
