When they shifted to penalty shots in 3s they seem to have disabled any checking based penalties that aren’t blatant interference to avoid so many penalty shots. In turn It leads to these guys skating across the ice for major hits, blatant boarding, and really late hits that don’t get called. It’s always been frustrating to me.
- @DominickB3 It just seems like there needs to be more checking penalties.. most of the penalties are stick lifting from teams that spam that too..
I just think timing plays should be rewarded more.. not goons going around decapitating heads.. I will do interference penalties next
