This would be good if it defaults to none - because no one wants to pick 2 alternate numbers if they're creating 30 players. It would also be useful to have the ability to ban numbers. In Franchise I have to check each year to make sure no one is inadvertently wearing 88, which is a number that should never be worn by anyone.
Do you really hate Eric Lindros that much? Or just think his number should be retired league wide?

I live in Austria. I am aware of the significance of the number 88 to certain people. Thing is, only North Americans see that number and immediately think what you're thinking. We see that number and think it's the number that comes after 87 and before 89. It's also why the licence plate designation for Hamburg is HH. For Hansa Hamburg. Not what you apparently would automatically think.
Or are you calling out William Nylander?
