Lets Settle This EASHL Drop-in Debate

For quite some time since the removal of OTP/Community lobbies along the option to play in an indoor arena with option to change jerseys and pick from various teams around different leagues I find the current 6's drop-in isn't getting the support from the members in that community. Biggest reason is because the mode gets old very fast using the same 2 hoodies, and the outdoor hockey thing for it seems to be more a 3's thing... I find most of the time clubs go into drop-in for build testing then dip making the game mostly filled with AI. I get wanted to give drop-in a more casual approach but forcing us to play club doesn't work very well since many of us have jobs/families and other things IRL. EASHL was something we did during our spare time. Much of us who have clubs are on different schedules due to busy life schedules. Club was always a secondary thing compared to OTP for majority of the casual community because of that reason.

The current system is draining since half the time we are searching minutes to hours for 1 game where it either freezes and we have to reset the app or play against mostly AI since many don't make it through or quit. The whole sentiment lobbies were toxic is a false perspective as it was less toxic then compared to now. 99% of the time with the current way we end up in with them due to low population. Yeah the text chat with lobbies got out of hand but it doesn't need to be there! At least then we could find quick games, invite our friends and avoid the trolls when needed. Heck back then I think only 3 trolls existed between 360/PS3 as I played on both.

All I'm saying is problem solve before jumping into action forcing the casuals into getting into club by taken a essential feature away! Give some thought into testing the waters by listening to the communities feedback. I used to have so many friends from my hometown, along online that would play EA NHL when lobbies were around and we were in our 20's around that time. It made it easier for us to play games since we IRL we were busy. Over 100 of them stopped playing and supporting this series because lobbies were removed. Even a person who is a bigtime troll on PSN used to play normal.

Doubt we will ever see lobbies again but tbh its destroying the casual community not having it! EA NHL would thrive way better adding it back, as many of the former members would come over from FIFA since that is where many of them went to for now.
