3 years agoThis could be related to lag. Try power cycling your modem/router and console. There is nothing built in to the game that forces you to lose faceoffs you would have won.

No, but the fact this is a peer-to-peer connection means the host will always have an advantage. It's exactly why people will quit and search for another matchup if they're not the home team; they get advantages in things like faceoffs (among many others) despite the advantages not being programmed in the game.
It's just the nature of P2P multiplayer gaming. One person will always have an advantage.
