It happened for me when I swapped out my helmet on my EASHL player. Regardless, there's a fix coming next month.

Any word on the “score on your own goal” bug? I’d love to see that one fixed. It directly affects gameplay and is extremely damaging.

    Still getting the lobby half loaded, can't see any of your opponents, or ready up. Which was allegedly fixed in the last patch.
    Can we please use LB to cancel a shot, so when we don't want to shoot the puck, that we're not shooting it from behind the net or at a terrible angle, since we were going for a hit and somehow got possession instead? This has been in the game since 16, here we are at Nhl 23 and it's still a thing... Do better.
