LIST OF MISSING EQUIPMENT/GEAR + WISHLIST
They have been notable equipment/gear missing throughout the years but none more than the Reebok 5K Sidney Crosby still wears today that haven't been in a NHL game since NHL10. Can someone explain to me how the poster boy for the league from 2005-2017 doesn't have the right helmet ? Instead we got this weird looking Reebok Carter Rowney, Filip Forsberg and Patrice Bergeron wore for about 1 year.
The glove colors are often off or simply inverted. The patches (Pittsburgh Penguins "C" for captain has not been worn since 2007) or numbers on jerseys are not exactly the right one. See pictures below. I know the Stanley Cup final patch changed last year, but it would be nice to have the old patches on old jersey to match authenticity. 1989-1994, 1995-1999, 2000-2004, 2006-2008, 2009-2021 and finally 2022-present.
With Custom League mode and the roster sharing system I would love to see old gear back into the game and also old retro gear from 50's 60's 70's additions.
Creating a helmetless player, option to remove shoulder pad or choose an actual "small pads", old gloves and skates to go with a Titan or Sherwood wooden stick would make it more authentic.
Here's the list of the missing equipment/gear in current game (we have Reebok/CCM, Easton - old stick added in NHL23, Bauer, Warrior and Jofa as brands right now, so no copyrights issues). We still have old Vaughn gear, why not old pads/blockers Reebok/CCM and Bauer.

I would also like to be able to choose any helmets and add them the full shield, half shield or cage instead of having generic helmet.
Old games had broken jaw protector added when playing injured. Would be nice to put them as default too.
