Running from the same Orbi as the other devices on that floor.

As a test, can you move to a location that lets you use a wired instead? Wireless is probably the biggest reason for disconnects and lag so it would be good to rule that out if that's not the case.
That's fair but how am I never disconnecting or buffering from hours of steaming video meetings next to the console on the same network? Especially since he's playing offline HUT?

NHL, along with our other sports games, are very demanding when it comes to the connection. Something like streaming video or audio can buffer, but that's not quite the case with a dynamic game that is played in real time.
Let me know what happens with the wired test.
OK will give it a try. No idea what could have changed since 2023 so dramatically, it's happened one time (ever) so let's say 0.5% up to 30%, a 60x change. Seems like a product issue.
