Meaningful Changes For NHL 24

    Just to be clear I'm not suggesting you need full 6s lineup to playclub. Just eliminate any option to play with only 2 skaters. The game plays totally different (for the worse) with 2 skaters on the ice, with 3 AI.

2/3-man teams make up the vast majority of clubs - you'd completely kill clubs removing it. There needs to be a major AI overhaul for offline anyway so you might as well tune it to work for clubs too .

Forcing anyone to play G would certainly sour NHL for them lol, the position plays like total dog poop, my dude.

I don't personally like the idea of having multiple builds to choose from at will, especially if you want forced 6v6 where everyone would have a "pure" build.

Threes Eliminator should add powerups and stuff akin to 3v3 arcade - it's current state leaves a ton to be desired.

I agree there should be more manual shots but I think people would still opt flr auto one timers - this would cause people to dump all their stats into wrister and give a good ~100 points to spend elsewhere

    @TTZ_Dipsy agree w everything except for the G position thing... I think it plays pretty well this year in comparison to years passed. Of course it could be *much* better, but I don't think it's as bad as a lot of people are giving it heat for. I have my ideas for mapping new goalie controls but I'm not giving that out for free EA 😉 hmu

    For 24 - I want an actual update to presentation. Totally revamped. We need a more dynamic experience in (and outside of) the arena. Take advantage of the PS5 hardware. Make the rinks feels original. Every arena feels the same it's so stale.

    I want deeper customization for everything that is customizable. Custom Leagues is such a sweet addition for me as a franchise player, let's go deeper.

    Customizable schedule for CL's.

    I don't personally play BAP, but I would like some storyline updates for the homies that look forward to that game mode every year.

    The open next bag button is nice but please just let me open EVERY bag at once.

    Competitive/Arcade modes for WOC 6v6. I would love to see two sets of sliders for online team play. If you want high scoring, straight skating, backdoor clapping fun then arcade is the mode for you. If you want to grind out some league games and capitalize on your opponents mistakes then competitive mode is for you.

    Deeper strategies - bring back create-a-play. let us build out PP/PK.

    Interactive 'Out of Town' scoreboard with box scores. (franchise mode)

      for me to ever purchase an nhl again thats actually worth any money or time from me...id need a good chunk of these...

      1...the game to stop changing speeds randomly...thatd be great for us that use sliders

      2...strategy revamp...get someone who understands hockey to help you out here...1-2-2 passive/aggressive lol? weak side lock where theres no stong-side force and no weakside pressure lol? hello? 2-3 where the d always pinches and not the high forward haha? i mean...come on. these are just nonsensical and not even executed the way theyre presented in game...also why is pinch hidden in the d menu guys? pinching is a team strategy dictated by your pressure level or whatever you want to call it...why is this independent? makes no sense to anyone who has played hockey at a moderate level

      3...goalies are the worst theyve been in years...those new human RS moves are just awful to watch...robotic reactions...no real goals...yikes was 23 just awful for goalies...

      4...create a team...more juerseys...more sock templates so we can match the jerseys added now what...6? 7? games ago..? hello?

      5...real broadcast length back?

      6...can we use those cat props yet in a meaningful way? would be cool to see players run through those things added 8 games ago

      7...national anthem or light show or whatever...can we get that to trigger 100%?

      8...cpu ai to actually apply pressure again in the zone...not everyone is a competitive HUT streamer...we actually like hockey and would appreciate the offline game to play a little closer to the sport

      9...create a team..more jersey slots. 3 is too little for the modern nhl...between herritage and RR and outdoor games...teams should really have 5-6 slots...id take 4

      10...crate a teeam...need more logos than 3...realistically need 4 at minimum with 3 jersey slots....so id like to see more logo slots and more jersey slots

        I saw it mentioned on page 1 of this post, an out-of-town scoreboard with box scores would be sweet for franchise mode!

        I also like the idea of making arenas more personable and lifelike.
