Merging Rosters

Looking for some assistance from the community. Maybe I’m missing something here but what does merging rosters actually do? I tried merging my custom roster with the March 6th trade deadline roster. It quite simply created another roster identical to the March 6 roster. All of my player edits disappear.

Is there a way to do this so all my hard work editing players actually merge to the most current roster update?

Merging just keeps all your created players/teams. Everything else gets overridden by the online roster, including the placement of your created players.

Thx for the response. That is a massive flaw with roster merging. Absolutely zero reason why your edited players should be lost. Makes no sense.

@Tier1SOFOperatorI told them since years that our edited custom roster should overwrite the existing players from the EA roster in a merging process. They never listen like always. Means after merging all your edits like ratings, potentials, equipment ( excl the self created CAP's ) of many hundred hours work are lost.

@EA_Aljo would be great if you you could pass this up to the dev team for consideration.
