As a consumer it bothers me to see us be given such a poor product! I consistently deal with certain game breaking bugs in this game. I could upload over 50 videos by now showing how poorly cared for this game was in the production standard. I don't put any blame on the Devs, it all goes on EA as a company who are failing there customers in not just NHL Series but others also.
GWC isn't far away and these issues are still plaguing the game, which could easily decide the games in the tournament. We complain not because we want to! It's because we are sick of seeing disappointment year after year! This game caters to the toxic E-sports kids who LT and exploit there way to victory! Ever play competitive hockey IRL? This stuff would never happen! If you LT like a clown there should be a speed penalty with puck control loss. I also don't get why self-sauce is in the game! I can defend it but it does throw the AI off of position...
The fact QOL content lacks and gameplay is turning into a pitiful mess! Maybe it's time to fix this game! No reason why we are in January without a gameplay update! Postpone NHL 24 if fixing NHL 23 is an issue! No need for this! I'm sick of supporting the carelessness of the HQ members at EA Sports. The Devs are already just as frustrated, same with the gamechangers and top streamers! Lets friggin do something!!! Enough of this mickey-mouse arcade BS!
I come back to install this game after nearly TWO months and it's still broken.

I don't know about the sales, but think its not clear for them that they loose many customers for future games if they leave it as undone. Personally think NHL 23 is done and they work for 24. I am not happy with the actual team anymore.
Yeah I hear you! No wonder all majority of the EA NHL streaming community are announcing themselves leaving the series. The lack of communication/updates of this broken game has turned everyone away from EA NHL who use this game for content. OgKevinBacon, Krofto, Keso, NippinBiscuits, Johnwaynee90, and many more don't even stream this series anymore since they are fed up! Sadly the GameChangers are just as frustrated. Games catered to the E-Sports kids who live in their mothers basements, learning how to exploit the game on a daily basis.
The significant amount of bugs this game has is purely unacceptable since nothing has been done to fix it. It just shows the lackluster commitment of caring for this product. We consumers are being given a broken game! I doubt there will be much support for NHL 24 release unless some major needed changes are made.
It feels like we were ripped off by a drastic margin tbh! It bothers me to see it! How this game wasn't tested properly for QOL function, is mind boggling! In any other business that releases a broken product they either recall, fix the problem or give compensation ( not in HUT packs ) to the customers out of respect! Why not refund us some of the money we spent to buy this game? It surely wasn't worth the money we paid for! Either fire the ones who are in suits making the calls or call it quits and fold as a company! No point in producing poorly made products for a AAA price! It's a friggin joke at this point! EA give your heads a shake! The Devs don't need the stress! They are burnt out! Get it together!
