So i made a char and using my real lastname wich is Jonsson i can choose the commentator to say my last name but i cannot use it because its offensive wtf is this????? And i see other players with faktiskt lastnames as racist slurs im not gonna type here....

I know this is really frustrating. Unfortunately, your last name can be used in combination with other words to make offensive names so I'm not surprised it's not getting past the filter.

I really don't understand EA being so strict on names used, oh no it's offensive to someone, you barely see the name, imo all it does it shows the persons character, if I see a name that I'm not a fan of, I don't report it, I just either leave the game or ignore it. No reason to waste my time reporting an "offensive name".
But if they were as strict about actually trying to fix the many bugs in this game, as they are about banning people for inappropriate/offensive names, this game might actually be decent and we wouldn't be constantly hounding The forums for change..
I was using ''Coune'' since forever and suddenly it's offensive in nhl23 lol ...It make no sense. My friend with ''Maniac'' got reported and is now the fantastic Jordan NHL...because, Duhh. The amount of Jordan NHL I'm seeing lately is crazy.......everything is apparently offensive these days, it's terrible. So many weak minded poeples now a day.
Hey Aljo, we've been through this you and I several months ago, the thread is probably still around. It didnt worked out for me, even though you told me my name was not in the ban list. Whats funny is all I did is changing ''Coune'' for ''Koune'' and it worked like a charm :P The full name is ''Ti Coune'', switched for ''Ti Koune''.

Lmao, I was banned last week for Stink Fingers Mcgillicutty. It’s unbelievable how much of a joke EA is at this point.
