If you slow it down you see the RW forcing the pass across to someone covered by 2 guys, the puck goes thru the RD whos guy actually looks down at the puck and doesnt do any pickup or knock away.
I didn't realize the LD was human controlled. My bad there. I thought this was a complaint about AI defenders letting the puck through. In this case, the LD could have defended it. It would be good to see the RD play this better, but there also isn't a lot of reaction time available with a pass that close so that could play a role in this.

I don't think the difference in reaction time between those two players is very much.
If the roles were reversed and the forward had inside position and went for the one timer, would he miss it? I don't think so. We wouldn't be talking about reaction time then, would we?
- 3 years agoThis happens so often. You can be squared up to a pass and it ends up on the dude behind you on a forced terrible play for a slam dunk. Something is definitely off with puck interceptions.
