No because we didn’t want to lose progress. We bought and used it online for a month and now it won’t work.
Could you try logging in to HUT with a different gamertag? That would help determine if this is an account issue or not. No progress will be lost on the main account when logging in to a different one.

What system are you playing on and is a wired or wireless connection being used? Also, when are you not able to connect? Is it when you first boot up the game? There are some troubleshooting steps here that may help.
Many connection issues are resolved with power cycling. Try doing that now with these steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes, plug in the modem/router and let it come back online. Then, plug in your console and start it up. If that doesn't help, please try contacting an advisor by opening a case here.
