Network connection issues - Unable to connect to EA servers at this time.

I am not able to load into the ea servers. I can start the game but i can not do anything that requires being signed in to EA. My internet is working perfectly, I can play COD, I can use streaming services such as Netflix. I have performed internet tests and my internet is working flawlessly. I have no standing sanctions from EA or PSN. 

I have renewed my license's on my ps5 system, i have deleted and re-downloaded the game. What else can I do here? 

The EA servers are not down. According to this website the ea servers are fine, and i have many friends playing NHL 23 on both psn  and xbox. Some of my psn friends have also experienced this problem, but only temporary. Friend joins party to play the other day and he couldn't access online features for NHL23 due to this same issue. This has happened for a couple friends, and even happened to me before briefly. The first time i was able to just try starting the game and it worked. This time around however, i have not been able to play the game 2 nights in a row. 

Ea, if you're game isn't going to work, what did I pay for?
