NHL 23: A D-man perspective

@Deeboo_91 Full time defender for my club. Couldn’t agree more with you. You basically took words out of my head when I’m playing this game. In my opinion, the puck physics is the worst I’ve ever seen. I’m not getting rewarded at all with poke check, interceptions, and shot blocks. Seems like whatever happens, the puck will go to the nearest opponent. I’ve seen highlights where I’ve seen my poke check go through the puck but it still stays on. Hitting is a 50/50 chance. Either it’s a hit or I get bounce off and my player gets transported to a different realm because the opponent sticks out the right stick to the side. Stick lift is an automatic penalty even when I hit the stick. This is the highest scoring game I’ve ever seen in EASHL. Every game on average is more than 8 goals per game. We have a solid tendy but he doesn’t get rewarded with good play. This year is the worst for defenders.
