I fixed it. I think the error is showing up when someone else has the team name you enter. I entered extra letters and error went away. Hope this helps fellas.
Hi, i have xbox series x and xbox one s, they are in two different locations. i bought nhl 23 for the X and started my hockey ultimate team there. Now I want to continue building that hut team on the one s but when I logged in and installed the game, it starts the team from the beginning. and I have the same account on both.

Community ManagerWhen this error happens during team creation, it normally means you're choosing a name that is already in use. Try adding some characters or using a different name instead. Thanks!
