Considering they only do this with Bauer and not the other brands I'm guessing the license deal with Bauer states that only equipment they currently produce can be included in the game (or something like that). It's likely Bauer's decision.
Why we can't use female players, when we create teams ? Would be n great, that we offline players would get a chance build our own mixed teams, where today's female and male players playing in same team. But now we not have , that possibility, because EA Sports has blocked from use IIHF World Championship line-ups in team creation . EA Sports please add this possibility to the NHL 23. Now when we can't use IIHF Women's World Championships- or Men's World Championship line-up's in team creation, we lose lot of potential players what we could use in our own teams. In here is few example.
- Ben Bowns, he play this season in Cardiff Devils, Devils not be in NHL 23, but Bowns would find in the game about Great Britain World Championship team. We can't use him, because EA Sports has blocked from us IIHF Men's World Championship line-ups use in team creation.
- Noora Räty, best female goalie in history . Would be great will add Räty to game , but we can't do that. Because there are a few problem:
a. we can't create player, which would be under 170 cm (5'7") tall and Räty is 165 cm (5'5") tall. This is big problem, when we create female players, because bigest part female players are under 170 cm (5'7") tall.
b. If we could create Räty to game, the problem would be it, that we can't edit IIHF Women's World Championship line-ups or anyt other IIHF World Championship line-ups in the game.
It's not right, that only online players get to enjoy mixed teams, also we offline players want create own mixed teams to game.
We are very happy if you added those things to game
- Possible use female players in teams creation
- Possible create players, which are under 170 cm (5'7") tall, new minimum tall could be 145 or 150 cm (4'7" or 4'9")
