NHL 23 crossplay tech test xbox player and playstation player can play together?

When i play a world of chel game on the crossplay tech test of nhl 23 i can see an xbox player playing with ps4 player in 6v6 but EA said that xbox and playstation can't play together but they can pl...

    My understanding is that you can have mixed platform on the same team in dropins but in Club it's one homogeneous team vs another homogeneous team.

@ManuNHL It's the tech test.....meaning that the "bugs" are being worked out for both scenarios...I'm anticipating that initially crossplay will be released as Xbox vs PS but not same team however there will be an update around xmas (or maybe sooner -depending on community experience feedback) where we will be able to.
