Upon starting the game during the “connecting to EA” screen, the game crashes. We get the message “Something went wrong. WV-109156-2” and then the following text in the top left corner of the screen… ERROR: 0x00000023 SSLError: 0x00000000 SSL connect error -PS5 System Software is up to date - NHL 23 is updated -Closing the Game and restarting PS5 does not solve the problem. It seems EA are having issues with their servers as it only (and always) happens when “reading save data”. Shame i cannot play the game offline. There’s no way to get into the game anymore.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try to open the game on PS5. It never starts because it crashes upon trying to establish a connection.
What happens when the bug occurs? It crashes. The only way to get out of the error message screen is to force shut down the application.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to connect and show me the main menu.

- @Leogreywolf Send this message to EA or PSN Support… We all have paid big money for the game we can’t play… nothing works … I think we just have to wait for next NHL23 update

Try power cycling your equipment. This issue should be resolved now. To power cycle, follow these steps - unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

Hi,
I´m really sick tired to these constant game falling down. I love to play this Be a pro-season and when you simulate the time, it is for sure that the game will fall down. Every single time you lose all the data and played game. This happens a lot, it is so so fustrating and makes me so angry. Why this happens? Why there is not a possibility to save the game between the perriods? Why this is still happenin after few years? Last tree years this has happend and now I`m finely fed up about this and I´m so angry that this kind thing can´t be fixed!
I need to ask? Am I the first to bring up this problem?
I have bought and played this NHL-game since 1995, almost 30 years. And now I´m thinking that this was the last (NHL23) time I will bye this game. If it is something you will/can/want to fix?
If not I`am sure that I will never bye any NHL-games you prodece.
