Community ManagerHey, everyone. I'm very sorry for the lack of answers to all your questions. Unfortunately, I'm not an offline mode player so it takes some time to get answers and chances are good, I won't be able to get all your questions answered. What I can answer so far is this -
Every team cannot be controlled in custom leagues.
Players are not able to be fully customized in NHL 23.
Be A Pro will have the new strategies and X-Factors integrated into them.
I know this isn't the news many of you were hoping for and I hate to see the disappointment. I'll continue to relay your constructive feedback to the team.
@EA_Aljo That is a HUGE L. Huge disappointment.
When you say players are not fully customizable, is it safe to say that they also aren’t semi-customizable MID franchise ie player position, player type etc? I’m assuming that we are still fully locked out because why would EA give us anything that we’ve asked for….
Also when you say you’re not an offline player and cannot get answers… does that mean you cannot ping the dev team and ask offline questions? Blueberry was able to ping them and (sometimes) get answers for offline related questions… not sure what you mean by that…
Be a Pro X factors and strategies hardly mean anything… so no comment on that as I have nothing good to say… besides huge disappointment..

I am asking questions, but I'm not able to get immediate answers. I'm getting all the details I can and will relay those if/when I have them.
- @EA_Aljo I was just confused by the way you worded.. wasn’t trying to imply you’re not asking questions. Please just let us know any info about Franchise Mode when or if you even get any…
Amazingly disappointing. I was so optimistic.
it sucks that for years we've asked for so many things and every year they keep teasing us with small improvement that you won't even see in the game
like how you're putting custom league in a game when you're not able to fully customize players, teams and not even able to use all 32 teams be a pro hasn't been touched for 3 years already it's brutal i wish the ones who's working on this game were real hockey fans.
