NHL 23 Missing Players?

Why are there players missing from the game? For example, the Habs don't have Kaiden Guhle or Arber Xhekaj and they are not part of Laval or their OHL teams...

@EA_Aljo It is mid November. When will we get the AHL player update in a roster? The AHL waiver should be nearly cleared and rookie player should be signed.

I don't have an update on this. We'll have to wait and see what changes are made in the next roster update.

When will the online versus rosters be updated, I'm pretty sure the NHL would be pissed to know that Austin Matthews isn't even in their game right now. Not to mention all the trades that have happened. How is a roster update not happened yet??
