Can you still find eashl games on xbox one or do I need to buy a series X just to play hockey?

As far as I know, you can. I'm on series x but I know some guys still playing on xbox one.
Xbox one and PS4 play with each others. Series x and PS5 with each others.
I hope they can manage to make just one huge community for nhl 24 instead of old gen/new gen.

Community ManagerThere are still players on XB1, try playing at around 04:00 BST as that is when online player count is at its highest.
