What u do...do u go into nhl 22 a change name 1st to download to nhl23 I played the trial a now my team won't download from  nhl22 to nhl23

Unfortunately, you can't import your team from NHL 22. You'll need to start a new one in NHL 23.

You can migrate your team from NHL 23 on Xbox One/PS4 to Xbox Series X/PS5. Help for that can be found here. 

It is not possible to import your team from NHL 22 to NHL 23.

Your team from NHL 22 will not import. This has never been possible. You can only import a team from NHL 23 on Xbox One to Xbox Series X and only if a team was not already created on your Series X.

What was the fix? I can’t fix it no matter if I change my name or not. Help please this is getting frustrating

If you're getting this error when trying to create your team, try adding some additional characters to make it different. This will happen when you choose a name that is already in use.
